Transactions and Billing

What happens when I purchase from CollectiveCow?

  • If you purchase via credit card, your card is only authorised for the total amount specified. Once the deal is either sold out or closes, you credit card will be charged and your vouchers will be delivered to your email inbox.
  • If your purchase via EFT, you are immediately charged for the total amount specified. Once the deal is either sold out or closes, your vouchers will be delivered to your email inbox. If the deal fails, we will refund the money into your bank account.

Pay via EFT (Beta)

At CollectiveCow, our preferred method of payment is via credit card. If you have a credit card or a cheque card with a Mastercard or Visa logo on it, we suggest you use this option.

By selecting the EFT facility you'll be able to make payment directly from your Standard Bank, ABSA, FNB or Nedbank Internet banking facility using Setcom's Secure Instant Deposit (SID) tool.

If it's your first time using our service, you'll be asked to run the payment application, select the bank of your choice and log in as you normally would via Internet Banking. CollectiveCow's banking details and reference numbers will automatically appear on the once-off payment (do not save into your beneficiary list as these details are only valid for this transaction.)

Once the payment has been made, you will be redirected back to CollectiveCow.com and your transaction will be confirmed. In order for your transaction to be successful, do not press back or click refresh during the process. If your booking fails, please try again. Using the same reference codes will not work - you must follow the entire procedure again.

As always, do not share your internet banking login or password with anyone! Please find out more about how SID works here. Also learn about the SID buyer protection program here to learn about your rights as an SID user.

* We regret this facility only works on Windows platforms.
