Credit card transactions will be processed for Collective Cow via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to http://www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

Data Security

Flow Communications manages Collective Cow’s server and takes reasonable steps to maintain the security of the Personally Identifiable Information that is collected, including limiting the number of people who have physical access to our database servers, as well as installing electronic security in the form of Thawte SSL technology that guard against unauthorised access. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us, so you do so at your own risk.
