The Power of Writing course has been developed by author Jo-Anne Richards and Richard Beynon, originator and writer of SgudiS’naysi, head writer of Isidingo for many years and currently a senior writer for Rhythm City

An introduction to creative writing, the Power of Writing is designed for anyone wanting to take the first step towards exploring their creativity. The course is suitable for high school students and graduates, as well as salary earners who would like to improve their written communication skills. Jo-Anne and Richard have focused the content on practical writing exercises to encourage writing without constant self-censorship. The course encourages writers to develop their own writing voice.

It will be held on Saturday, 25 August 2012 09h00 for 09h30 to 16h30 at the AFDA campus in Auckland Park, Johannesburg. 

A light lunch, as well as morning and afternoon tea, is included.

We also offer this course as a "four module" online option, so you can start when it suits you and work at your own pace.
