Tony is a senior golfing professional and instructor. He is well known and respected by fellow professionals and has recently been made an honorary life member of the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) of South Africa.
A few career highlights:
- Played as a professional on both the Sunshine Tour and European Tour for 20 years
- Played in two British Opens – 1967 at Hoylake and 1970 at St Andrews
- Accompanied golfers to the Ryder Cup at Latrobe, United States
Tony prides himself on being the organiser of the SA PGA Club Pro Championship at the River Club golf club, and running it for three years. He has also been the chairperson and founder of the SA senior circuit for five years.
Among his many achievements, Tony participated in seven senior British Opens, the Carling World Open in Canada, and the World Open at Pinehurst in the United States.
