Heat up the dance floor and show off your moves with five salsa classes at the Hot 'n' Spicy Salsa School (HNS) and get into the Spiciest Party in August!
Grab a drink at the bar, find a seat and get chatting to the other salsa-holics. Then the lesson begins! The instructors will teach the first half of a routine and then everyone dances to a song, followed by a five-minute break. The second half of the routine is taught and practised to another song. To end, a warm-down song will be played where old and new students are expected to join in. After the lesson, students are encouraged to stay and practise and enjoy the salsa rhythms.
What to wear: Dress is smart-casual.
Shoes: It is not necessary to go out and buy dance shoes, but just to let you know, rubber soles e.g. takkies, are not advised, as you tend to stick to the floor. Office work shoes for men are great and for the ladies, a bit of a heel helps you with your turns. Ladies, please DO NOT wear loose sandals or flip flops.
For bookings, please call Vicky on 072 265 6101.
Note: This deal is only available to NEW customers!
THE SALSA PARTY WILL BE HELD ON 11 AUGUST 2012 AT BRAZA, BRIGHTWATER COMMONS.

THE SALSA PARTY WILL BE HELD ON 11 AUGUST 2012 AT BRAZA, BRIGHTWATER COMMONS.
This deal EXCLUDES meals and drinks at the party.
Level 1: Beginners
You must complete four to five beginner lessons before you can move on to Level 2. You also need to practise the moves after class. If you don't practise, you won't improve. After class, turn to the first person you see and ask them for a dance. Once you are completely comfortable with the basic salsa steps and turns, you may move on to Level 2.
Level 2: Improvers
Improvers is a very important class. Here you learn the starter moves to the advanced moves, giving you the best foundation to be a great advanced dancer. So don’t rush this class, stick it out! There is a seven-week syllabus, which you need to complete three times before even considering moving to the next class. It is always advisable to ask your instructor if he/she thinks you are ready to move up to another level.
Level 3: Intermediate/Advanced
At this level, we teach you new sequences every week, giving you new ideas to include in your dancing. You are not expected to remember everything, but make sure you take away one new move, practise it after class and try to implement it at the next salsa party.
