Cheetah Plains' traditional thatched accommodation blends seamlessly into the African bush and comprises eight en-suite chalets. The lodge exudes warmth and comfort, allowing you to feel right at home.
Children of all ages are welcome and babysitters are available. A child 12 years and under, sharing with parents, is accomodated in one extra single bed per room. Children 4 - 12 years pay 50% of the adult rate (i.e. R823.75 for this super Collective Cow special!). There is no charge for children 0 - 3 years. Please note, children six years and under are not permitted on game drives.
Guests may arrive any time from 12h00 and rooms must be vacated by 11h00.

The best time for viewing game is early morning and evening, so try to make the effort of getting up very early for the morning drive. You can always have a nap after breakfast. Look out for the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino – plus the endangered cheetah.

Directions
Recommended self-drive route from Johannesburg:
Depart Johannesburg via the N12 highway and continue to Witbank, which then becomes the N4 highway. Continue straight through Middelburg and on towards Belfast. Switch to the R540 to Dullstroom, continue on through Lydenburg, Ohrigstad and through the Strydom Tunnel. On approaching Hoedspruit, take the R531 to Klaserie, Acornhoek and then follow the signs for Sabi Sand to the Gowrie Gate. Follow directional signs to the camp. Cheetah Plains is approximately 12 kilometres from Gowrie Gate.
Distances
